ICA Auction Event to Support Advocacy Efforts
Aftermarket.com
is pleased to announce that a portion of the Aftermarket.com event will be set aside to auction domains to benefit the ICA in advocacy efforts. If you are not aware of ICA (The Internet Commerce Association) they are a trade group comprised of members who own, develop and operate domain names for the purposes of online commerce and are a leading voice for domain owners ensuring their rights are not affected by the politics of Washington or the policies of ICANN. These names have been generously donated to ICA and it would be great to see the generosity returned in kind for a worthy cause. Among the names donated that will be auctioned live during the event are:

Anyone have updates on the domains sold? I cant see anything on that live site: http://www.domaintools.com/domain-auctions/live/DRT2009 It doesnt work for me in IE(8), FF (3) or even in Google Chrome (2). All I see is a message that says:
Please wait… If you are having issues launching the auction platform, please check the FAQ or call (206) 838-8763 and use code 602384.
I dont have free long distance, so I wont be calling and the FAQ – tells me nothing that I havent already tried. It shouldnt be this difficult to view the auction. Oh, and the live TV site – its just a test pattern.
Its been like this all afternoon. I rebooted twice…. nothing. I figured its over now and maybe someone can report the results in a nice, plain text file or HTML page – that is simple and works?
