   Hi Jay,
   Are you saying that if someone has good domain (generic) name or create one new with no traffic yet, there is no chances of such name making it to your auction? Looking at the names listed on this blog for auction, I think there might be good ones that your system might have filtered out simply because they has no “Alexa Ranks.” ……..just curious what really qualifies a good name to be considered for the auction..

   UPDATE BY JAY: Generic domains get in, but we also look at the reserve. Had Sex.com been listed for $1 BILLION it is not getting in!

   Good question and we agree!

   The system didn’t pick up on ToyChest.com nor Fishermanswharf.com …
   (and this show is in San Francisco…!!)

   So… maybe someone needs to revisit the auto-criteria for next time.

   UPDATE BY JAY: Oh the system got the domain, however the reserve was $1.2 MILLION. So we passed…. Good try though.

   Is it too late to lower the reserve price for last chance to get into the auction?

   UPDATE BY JAY: You can try but I doubt we will find the price change, next time remember you are competing against thousands of people for a very few spots.

   where were the TOS for the auction? i didnt see any so i didnt submit any names this go round.

   UPDATE BY JAY: It is posted on: https://www.domaintools.com/contracts/ You will be able to find a link and it is required to sign before a domain is allowed to be picked.

   some of them domain names are worth just the register fee. i had certified done on 17 of them and the only one worth the money is yt.com

   UPDATE BY JAY: Not sure what you are talking about. We have see tens of thousands of domains and made a very short list of the VERY best ones. You submitted f02.biz. Why?

   I submitted f02.biz just because I wanted to. what about exchangeupdates.com
   f02.biz is worth more then sanfransiscobasketball.com
   as well as Mint Condition Stamps.com just to name a couple
   exchangeupdates.com is worth more then the above 2 as well as xmastoys.com
   3lb.net is worth more then them 3 plus f02.biz

   Can you tell me what do you think?

    Jay I am sorry for what I said. If you pick my domains great if not great for me it is not important. I will not loose sleep. I have better things to do then to argue about domain values. So where ever you are Plewase have a good day

    I have to question the accuracy of the traffic on your screenshots, nice name, but I dont think it pulls in 50k+ visitors per month on direct navigation
