This is not a Summer domain, but when Winter hits, this domain makes about $5,000 or $6,000 a month on ads. The Overture numbers are from January so you can see what we are talking about. A domain name with no content and no organic search engine traffic makes more money then you can shake a stick at. This is a domain that is only getting sold because the owner wants to develop some other domains and needs the money for other killer domains.
Snowboards.com is a natural store front for all the different snowboards. Microbrands are a new trend on the Internet and allow people to find the brands easier. As we have discussed earlier, when a company owns a Microbrand which is also a category term they do VERY well and generally spend zero on advertising. It is almost cheating to own this domain and hooking it up to a store that sells Snowboards.
