I am proud to announce that the fourth annual Domain Roundtable will be held April 18th-20th in San Francisco. It will be held between two really awesome events, directly after Ad Tech (April 15th - 17th) and right before Web 2.0 Expo (April 22nd - April 25th).
We have a simple formula. Domains + Ads + Web 2.0 = San Francisco 2008
This will be the first city outside of Seattle that gets to experience a Domain Roundtable in action. It will take a few months of preparation and a lot of hard work to make this next conference the best conference we have ever hosted. We hope to bring in a lot of Bay Area people and companies for the event. If you have any ideas for events or are interested in sponsorship please email sf2008 <at> domainroundtable.com. Please save the dates and prepare for an awesome domain conference. We are looking for fresh new ideas and concepts for the show, so please email us with your ideas or what you would like to see and what is missing.

Jay,
I notice a number of the hotels are already sold out for the other conferences. That is going to spill over on Roundtable.
Have you worked out something with the venue hotel?
UPDATE BY JAY: Yes we are working with the venue hotel to get a dedicated block for attendees.

It is nice to hear the dates for next conference . I suggest auction of domains can be in phases may be it is in one day, this will save lot of problems for guests

Not sure how far out your group typically book conferences, but 1 year or more is common for many conferences to ensure venue and room availability.
Also, booking a conference around others may seem helpful, but often can be a negative in that hotel rooms are difficult to find, places are crowded, and for the conference itself - it may be relegated to less desireable quarters and/or lack of personnel to construct booths (local union workers may be required in some venues), etc which may cause much inconvenience and grief for everyone involved.
Anyways, with all that said, looking forward to the next conference
