Splenda registers hundreds of negative domains

Splenda DomainsSplenda wants to shortcut any free speech or backlash to their product by registering all the negative domains. It all started back in the 90’s when AOLsucks.com successfully defended its use of the Trademark of “AOL” in its name and established the legal precedent (BTW, AOL bought AOLsucks years later). Courts have found that the sucks appended domain names do not confuse the consumer, and their registrants have a right to voice criticism. To proactively combated this, companies with big brands now find it common to register the domains before critics do. But when reading the list of domains that Johnson & Johnson registered it looks like they predict bad side effects or that their product may be dangerous. Creative names like Splenda Side Effects.com, Splenda Dangers.com, Splenda is not Safe.com, and Victims Of Splenda.com are thought up by the marketing team at Johnson & Johnson. It looks like J&J was late to the game because the more obvious negative domains are owned by critics like sucks and kills. However J&J decided to register the .NET versions instead. The cost of the domains is nothing compared to the legal or PR battles that could take place if a critic successfully uses the domain name. Large companies should make it a proactive practice to register negative domains while they are still in the branding phase of their product.

Several months ago I began to have some memory problems and it was getting worse and worse. It got to where I would get in my car and have to turn around and go home because I couldn’t remember where I was going. Scary.
I went to see a neurologist and one of the first things she asked me was if I was using any artificial sweeteners. I said, Yes Splenda. She started noding her head and told me, it has a cloride base and it’s causing a lot of problems for a lot of people. Naturally I stopped using it and even threw away by big Costco bag of it into the garbage. It doesn’t surprise me a bit that many of those domain names they have purchased refer to Splenda’s efects. The fact that their not volentarily pulling it off store shelves indicates that they have no concience about the damage their doing. I hope the courts show them no mercy. This is why we need to elect someone like Ron Paul. Big corporate is killing us.

Amongst the negatives, there always has to be at least ONE positive. I believe I have found that one….hopefully there are more….

My sister mentioned to me that taking SPLENDA is very BAD. One thing she mentioned is that Splenda shrinks the thymus gland. My reaction was to say, ‘HOORAY’! Why? Because I have Myasthenia Gravis, (which can lead one very, very weak…) One treatment for MG, is “thymectomy”, in which the thymus gland is removed! My parents & I decided against this, because, although it SOMETIMES results in remissions, it did — when I was younger & a candidate for it — leave a gaping hole in one’s neck! My neck is one of my best features…thymectomy was not for me…. But, many years later, my sister told me about Splenda…which shrinks the thymus gland! I like the taste…& began having at least 14 packets in a 20 ounce cup of coffee or tea. After a while, (while still taking my exhorbitantly exprensive medication, MYTELASE CHLORIDE, which ALSO helps make me strong — I was SO strong, my doctor thought I had lost the MG for good! (Being a survivalist, I try to SAVE my mytelase, & not take as many as I should…which has lead to my becoming unnecessarily weak. However….with the Splenda, I could, (and can), take LESS medication….and NOT feel weak at all! (I suppose I COULD so without the medication…but I want to take at least SOME of it, as a safety net of sorts.) Also — for various reasons — I hope to be able to move to Canada one of these years(!)…and the Mytelase, which helps me a lot…is NOT LEGAL IN CANADA! (I looked for drugs that people with MG take in Canada…and showed a list to my doctor. He said all those drugs are usually used for Parkinson’s Disease (?!!!!) Anyway, Splenda helps to supplement the Mytelase I am now taking…and helps me be a LOT stronger than with just the Mytelase alone. As I said, my doctor thought I had had a complete remission on the visit before the last one….and was therefore REFUSING to give me a prescriptin for the Mytelase…as he thought this was no longer necessary for me to take(!) Today, I visited him again, armed with info I had copied from several sites, so he would understand that it was the Splenda — & it’s shrinking of my thymus gland — which was making me stronger, not a natural remission, and that I still needed my medication! He agreed, this time, to give me a new prescription. So, for people with Myasthenia Gravis, SPLENDA is a great adjunct for any medication we may be taking! Like anything else, it should be used with caution, (I sure DON’T need fibromyalgia & other things Splenda is supposed to give)….but as of now, I have had NO BAD SIDE EFFECTS FROM THE SPLENDA I HAVE TAKEN….ONLY THE GOOD ONE OF GETTING A LOT STRONGER!!!!!

  5. JennyEstherI_1792 Says:

P.S. Just to be sure, my doctor had me take a blood-test, to determine whether I had MG or not. The test came back showing a
Non-Myasthenic result! However, after this, (to show I still had
the MG, no matter what the test showed), I stayed away from my pills, AND the Splenda, as much as I could. (IHAD to stay away from my pills as well as from the Splenda during those three weeks, because the Splenda had done such a good job of shrinking my thymus during the past 6 months or more, that three weeks was not long enough to get it back, growing bigger, in time for my next doctor’s appointment.) I DID take both the pills, (2 in 3 weeks), AND the Splenda, (about 30 packets, total, in those three weeks), however, when I felt the weakness creeping back up, during those 3 weeks…but tried to stay away as much as possible). Sure enough, my weakness DID come back. I’ve had MG since I was 4, so I know how far to go, to get JUST weak enough to show I have MG, and NOT to go to a danger point, where I cannot move… Anyway, as stated above, even though the blood test showed a NON-MYASTHENIA RESULT, I explained it was probably due to the Splenda, and that I did, indeed, still need my medication. Thankfully, the doctor agreed, and gave me a new prescription.

SPLENDA HAS SURE HELPED ME GET STRONGER. AND, AS MENTIONED, I, PERSONALLY, HAVE HAD ABSOLUTELY N O BAD SIDE EFFECTS….ONLY THE GOOD ONE, OF GETTING FAR STRONGER THAN I EVER HAVE BEEN BEFORE.

I BEGIN TO WONDER IF SPLENDA COULD HELP PEOPLE WITH OTHER AILMENTS, AS WELL……….?
